Unplugged: On your feet and face-to-face
This low-tech, high-energy workshop will focus on interactive, hands-on activities, improvisations and simulations for the EFL classroom. The workshop will elaborate on various techniques based on drama pedagogy that support different learner types and offer teachers guidelines on how to keep students of all ages and all levels actively involved in the learning process. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
The presenter, Conny Loder, studied for a teacher’s profession at the LMU and then took an M.Litt. at the Shakespeare Institute, UK. She received a PhD from the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University, Greifswald. Conny has directed various Shakespeare productions. She currently teaches at the TEFL Department at the LMU and at the European School Munich.
There will be a half-hour break in the middle for refreshments.
