Alternating between student and teacher perspectives, we'll explore ideas for using three lesson plans from the A-Z Coaching book. Participants will leave the workshop with material tailored to suit their own situations and learners -  individuals or teams, local or global.

We'll work with three lesson plans from the A-Z coaching photocopiable activity book for teachers. Participants will try out the exercises from the perspective of a learner, and then reflect on what went well and what could have gone better from the point of view of the teacher.
Lesson 1: How can coaching-style questioning stimulate conversation with individuals or in a group?
Lesson 2: How far do the words we chose reflect the way we behave, and what impact does changing our words have on the outcome of our communications?
Lesson 3: Time management is a critical issue in many areas of business. How can we get learners to address this? How could we use this lesson topic to get learners to consider how they manage the time allocated to learning English?
An additional important element of the lesson plans is the Teacher’s Coaching Questions and tips. Participants will be invited to consider these points and any others that might arise. The intention behind the workshop is to experience the possibilities of language coaching in a group setting. Additionally, participants will leave with lesson plans tailored to their specific clients.
