SUMMARY:It ain't what you teach - Teaching Learning Strategies with Rachael Harris\, October 15
DESCRIPTION:The more I teach the more I have realized how important successful learning strategies are for creating successful learners. Before we even think about what vocabulary or grammar we want our students to learn\, we need to look at how they will learn. This is even more important for students with learning difficulties. During this workshop we will look at a variety of learning strategies used for skills as well as learning vocabulary\, keeping up motivation\, dealing with evaluations and using learning journals. Participants will share ideas and methods and come away with concrete strategies to teach in class. \nFree of charge to members of ELTAF and other ELTAs. Fee for non-members: EUR 10.
