The Department of English and American Studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich is looking for a qualified and experienced teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TESOL) to teach English (B2-C2) and Cultural Studies, commencing 01 April 2023.
We are offering a contract of 23 months’ duration (non-renewable). Salary commences at approximately €35,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Salary is determined by the German Civil Service Regulations (Tarifvertrag der Länder: TV-L). The option of part-time employment is available as a general principle.
Job description:

an initial teaching load of 18 teaching hours per week (1 teaching hour = 45 mins)

developing teaching materials for new courses

developing and carrying out examinations
Job requirements:

teaching qualification, preferably in TEFL/TESOL

good university degree
-
minimum 3 years’ teaching experience (TEFL/TESOL)

preferably good competence in German and experience with German learners of English

native speaker standard of English
